Hi!! I'm Dana, the main artist behind Dana Hassett Makeup Artistry. I specialize in soft glam for brides who still want to look like themselves, just elevated and never overdone. My love for beauty began at a young age, but became deeply personal during my adolescent years when I struggled with severe acne. During that time makeup became something more than just fun - it became a way for me to regain confidence and feel beautiful in my skin. That experience shaped how I approach makeup and servicing clients today. I understand how powerful it can be when you can feel comfortable, confident and truly like yourself. I began my professional makeup career in 2017 and found my passion for bridal artistry in 2020. There is something incredibly special about being a part of such an emotional and meaningful milestone, and I truly value the trust my brides place in me.
My goal is to create an atmosphere where you can soak in every moment while feeling completely taken care of. Being chosen to be a part of a brides wedding day is something I never take for granted. My mission is to help every client (bridal party included) to feel like the most beautiful and confident version of themselves as they celebrate one of life's most unforgettable days. I'm committed to delivering an elevated bridal beauty experience that feels both luxurious and personal. I've always believed makeup should enhance what's already beautiful.
I understand that a wedding morning sets the tone for the entire day and aim to create an organized, yet enjoyable atmosphere and let that set the tone for the rest of your day. I believe the getting ready experience should feel relaxed, organized and enjoyable.

Dana...
I have two cats. Loki and Sylvie. They are my little loves. I also volunteer twice a week for a local cat rescue. I feed, play and clean up after the kitties there.
My favorite coffee order is an iced latte with regular milk (I like cow's milk, sue me! lol), 1 pump of mocha and 1 pump hazelnut syrup from Dark Horse Coffee and Kitchen in Sayville and Port Jeff! An extra fun fact.. My brother-in-law owns it ;)
I love living a healthy and active lifestyle. I believe in honoring your body through lots of movement and fueling it with healthy foods!
